Tannery Pond Center is seeking energetic individuals to join our team, either as a trustee on the board, a member of one of our committees or volunteers for a specific project. Right now we are specifically seeking a Board member to be Treasurer and to hire a contract bookkeeper.

Descriptions of the positions as follows:
Both positions require knowledge of Excel and Word, the ability to send, receive and print scanned documents, familiarity with or willingness to learn online banking tasks and familiarity with or willingness to learn an online financial program.
- Volunteer position
- 10-12 hrs/month including meetings
- Officer of the Board of Trustees (3 year term) – monthly meeting
- Chair / member of the Finance Committee – monthly meeting
- Member of the Executive Committee – meets as necessary
Responsibilities: report at monthly Board meetings on the financial health of the organization and prepare monthly financial report; prepare an annual budget in coordination with the Finance committee; communicate with organization’s accountant; submit appropriate documentation for quarterly taxes; interact with insurance agent as needed; research and implement any required or beneficial financial activities as necessary; collaborate with bookkeeper.

- 5-6 hours a month
- Short-term position with the potential to become long term
Responsibilities: track and categorize all financial transactions; maintain checking ledger; collaborate with Treasurer.
