Bringing Great Entertainment Experiences to the Adirondacks

With Outstanding Performances and Enthusiastic Audiences

Tannery Pond Center in North Creek, NY, is the premier arts venue for the lower Adirondack region. Our intimate and welcoming performance space brings high-quality music, dance, and dramatic performances to the Gore Mountain region. The Center presents concerts throughout the year in a variety of styles including, but not limited to, folk, rock, classical, jazz, and bluegrass, in our state-of-the-art Lyle Dye Auditorium, where every sound and artistic nuance can be heard and appreciated. Our region has a rich history as a retreat for artists and musicians from New York City and we regularly feature the music of touring artists as well as established and talented musicians and performers from the local area.

The Center also partners with other community, regional and educational organizations to bring an additional variety of choices to our seasonal offerings. Performers enjoy the intimate feel of our auditorium which features comfortable seating for 150 patrons, exceptional acoustics, stage lighting, a public address sound system, and an open dance floor area.

  • Music

Musical Performances are a very important part of our mission at Tannery Pond Center. Each year, dozens of performances take place in the auditorium hall. Many are presented by Tannery Pond Center itself and others by various groups in the community.

Musical styles offered include rock, blues, jazz, classical, bluegrass, alternative rock, world music, and more. Tannery Pond Center also prides itself on presenting musical talent from the local area and surrounding regions of the Adirondacks.

  • Theater

Theatrical presentations, modern dance, children's opera programs, international music, and dramatic performances are featured on a regular basis.

The Our Town Theatre Group also makes its home at Tannery Pond Center and presents several dramatic performances each year. Their website can be found at www.ottg.org.

  • Education

Educational outreach to local schools and students to encourage active participation in the arts is a strong priority for Tannery Pond Center. We offer free tickets to all performances for students and we work with all the schools in the area to encourage participation in our school-related events.

We also bring in artists and groups that are oriented towards children and their educational exposure to music and the fine arts.
